Due to strong rain, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps performed over 50 operations between 7 and 9 p.m. on Saturday. In most cases, basements were flooded.
In Bascharage, an accident between two vehicles took place shortly before eight o'clock in the evening. One person was injured in the process.
There were also two fires reported over night. In Esch-sur-Alzette, a balcony was in flames shortly after 9 p.m., while in Senningen, a car caught fire. In both cases, nobody was injured.
