People who are not mobile and have difficulty getting to the vaccination centre have been receiving their jabs by mobile vaccination teams since March.
Ënnerwee mat der mobiller Impfekipp
Persounen, déi net mobil sinn a Schwieregkeeten hunn, sech an den Impfzenter ze deplacéieren, ginn zënter Mäerz duerch mobil Impfekippe vaccinéiert.

Elderly people benefit from this service especially. These mobile teams are currently on the road in various regions in Luxembourg.

This campaign is controlled by the Copas network, the umbrella organisation of long-term care insurance providers and the Ministry of Health. These complement the structure of the vaccination centres and make the campaign more flexible.

The mobile vaccination teams mainly distribute doses of the Biontech/Pfizer vaccine. Over 100 people have been vaccinated in this way so far.

Those who are no longer mobile due to physical limitations are also covered by the mobile teams. Theodora Schwarz is 93 years old and was vaccinated by such a team because of mobile difficulties. Her family and friends are relieved because the procedures work well.

Meisy Bock also recently received her second dose. Again, the campaign was met by enthusiasm because it clearly eases the method and direction of vaccination for a section of the population.
