Monday’s update contains the data from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the government has stopped releasing coronavirus figures on the weekend.
No new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 818.
367 tests were carried out over the last 24 hours, with 1 coming back positive. The positivity rate was therefore 0.27%.
In addition, 15,614 tests were carried out on Friday and Saturday, with 38 cases coming back positive.
There are currently 8 patients in standard hospital care, down six from the Friday update. The number in intensive care has dropped by one to one.
As of yesterday, there were 498 active infections in Luxembourg, while 69,129 people have recovered from the virus.
268,206 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 171,426 of those have received a second dose.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 0.67.
