One new death from Covid-19 was reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 819. This marks the first Covid-19 related death since 1 June.

Despite the recent increase in cases, hospitalisations remain low: there are currently four patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, with only one patient in intensive care. Both of these figures remain unchanged from yesterday.
As of yesterday, there were 1130 active infections in Luxembourg, while 69,779 people have recovered from the virus.
358,842 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg. 262,886 people are fully vaccinated.
As of yesterday, the R rate is at 1.52, down from yesterday’s reported 2.1.
