Luxembourg-based nonprofit Memoshoah, dedicated to preserving the memory of the Shoah, announced its new administrative board in a statement on Thursday.
While several members of the outgoing council chose not to renew their mandates, the organisation emphasised the continued involvement of Mil Lorang, Claude Marx, and Serge Goffinet. The trio will remain active in supporting the administrative council to finalise a memorial wall honouring Jewish victims of the Nazis. Memoshoah praised their contributions, stating, “This memorial, rooted in their extensive expertise and years of research, would not be possible without their tireless voluntary work.”
Their research has also enabled Memoshoah to publish deportation lists on its website, documenting Jews who were deported from Luxembourg, Belgium, or France and were residing in Luxembourg at the time of the German invasion.
The newly appointed board consists of nine members, led by Marianne Beissel and Brigitte Sinner-Keipes. Additional members include Jocelyne Azancot, Monique Dabé, Jacque Delleré, Vera Dockendorf, Bob Goerens, Georges Santer, and Christiane Sietzen.
