The family announced the ceremony on social media after the two year old died in a tragic accident at the capital's Christmas market on Sunday.
The ceremony, which was open to the public, took place at 9am on 29 November at Dudelange cemetery and followed Muslim tradition.
According to his parents' wishes, the little boy will be buried in the family plot in Krstec, Kosovo on 30 November.
