On Monday evening, police responded to a report of domestic violence in Dudelange after a man was observed assaulting his partner.
Upon arrival, officers found both partners at the scene and discovered that this was not the first time police had been called to that address. Initial investigations indicated that an argument between the couple escalated into violence on Monday evening.
The woman was taken to the hospital for a check-up, while her partner was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office. He has also been barred from returning to their shared home. On Tuesday morning, the man was presented before an examining magistrate.
