
On Friday evening, police were alerted to a hit-and-run in Bonnevoie in which a person had been struck by a vehicle. Investigations revealed that shortly before the incident, the victim had been involved in an altercation with another individual in front of a bar on Rue de Bonnevoie in Luxembourg City.
As the victim was walking away, the person involved in the earlier dispute allegedly drove into them with a car. The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital for observation.
A few hours later, police located the vehicle and, following an order from the public prosecutor, arrested the driver and brought them before an investigating judge. The vehicle was seized and a formal investigation has been launched.
At around 7.24pm on Monday, two cars collided on the RN18 between Lenzweiler and Clervaux. Ambulance crews from Clervaux, supported by firefighters from Wiltz, were on site to assist one injured person.
A car crash took place on the CR103 between Olm and Kehlen at approximately 1.42am on Tuesday. One person was injured and required medical attention from first responders. Emergency services from Mamer, Kehlen, Steinfort, and Luxembourg City also tended to the scene.
