Officers arriving at the scene around 10pm found the man in question sitting on a chair at the station. When questioned, he became aggressive towards the officers, with the encounter quickly turning physical as police attempted to take him into custody.
As the clearly intoxicated individual was deemed to represent a risk to himself and others, he was brought to a cell to sober up overnight. He was first taken for a medical check-up, at which point he started to attack the officers accompanying him. As a result, he was arrested and a complaint filed against him for his behaviour.
