BettembourgMan arrested after credit card theft

Police arrested a man after a credit card was stolen from am apartment and used in Bettembourg.

After being informed of the potential theft, officers found the man in Bettembourg after he had already used the card several times. He was arrested by order of the prosecutor’s office and will be presented to an examining magistrate on Thursday.

Police further report that an adolescent was attacked and robbed on a bus between Grevenmacher and Remich on Tuesday. Two people attacked the youth and injured him in the process. Investigators latter identified two suspects at the Dreiborn juvenile unit, from whom they seized multiple stolen objects.
