
Shortly after midday, a car collided with another vehicle on a passing lane on the A6 motorway near the Croix de Gasperich. The driver of the struck vehicle was trapped in her car with serious injuries. After administering treatment at the scene, the emergency services rushed the injured woman to hospital.
Three lanes were closed off to traffic for the duration of clean-up and forensic activities.

At around 2pm, a car and a motorbike were involved in a collision on Rue de Redange in Reichlange, leaving one person with critical injuries. The Air Rescue helicopter transported the victim to hospital, assisted by local emergency teams.
The Junglinster ambulance service and the local fire brigade were dispatched to an unusual incident on Rue de Colmar-Berg in Mersch, after a vehicle fell into a hole shortly after 3pm. Two people were injured as a result.
In Urspelt, a car collided with a motorbike just before 4pm, leaving one injured. Once again, the Air Rescue team assisted at the scene, alongside Bettembourg, Urspelt, Frisange and Roeser emergency teams.
Finally, one person was reported to have suffered injuries following a collision between a car and a caravan in Kockelscheuer at 4pm.
