André von der Marck, the longstanding leader of Luxtram, is set to retire on 7 July, coinciding with the debut of the new tram line to Stade de Luxembourg, with Helge Dorstewitz named as his successor, according to officials.

After ten years at the helm of Luxtram, André von der Marck is set to retire on 7 July this year. This date coincides with the planned opening of the new tram line connecting the Stade de Luxembourg with the rest of the network.

According to a joint press release (FR) from Mobility Minister Yuriko Backes and Luxembourg City Mayor Lydie Polfer, von der Marck will be succeeded by Helge Dorstewitz, who has been with the company since 2019 and is currently in charge of the ongoing tram expansion.
