The prince has two sons from his marriage to Tessy Antony, which ended in 2019. Prince Gabriel Michael Louis Ronny was born on 12 March 2006, while Prince Noah Etienne Guillaume Gabriel Matthias Xavier was born on 21 September 2007.
Prince Louis has held the Order of the Gold Lion of the House of Nassau since 2004. In 2006, he spent a year volunteering for the Red Cross in Geneva, offering humanitarian support to children and the elderly.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a consultant for Laurent Meeschaert Conseil in Paris, before founding his own consultancy services aimed at supporting people with dyslexia in the workplace. He also launched his mediation company, SIBE Mediation, along with three partners in Paris in 2020.
In his spare time, Prince Louis likes to ski and snowboard, as well as go climbing. Further passions of his include table tennis, martial arts, fencing, riding, diving, flying, and hunting. The prince is also an enthusiastic pilot.
In February 2022, the Grand Ducal Court confirmed Prince Louis had ended his engagement to Scarlett-Lauren Sirgue, reportedly due to “fundamental differences of opinion”.
