A high-speed traffic accident occurred on the N7 between the Fridhaff roundabout and Diekirch at 5.10pm on Monday evening.
Initial reports indicate that a vehicle, while overtaking a van, lost control and collided with a tree. The driver sustained injuries in the crash.
Authorities are now appealing for witnesses, particularly the driver of the van that was overtaken, to come forward.
