Luxembourg police were called to handle a range of incidents on Friday night, responding to approximately 40 reports of fights, disputes, and noise complaints.

Luxembourg police responded to around 40 incidents on Friday night, including brawls, arguments, and noise complaints. According to the police report, most situations were resolved on-site.

Officers were also despatched to the central railway station in Luxembourg City shortly after 10pm when an individual was seen running along the railway tracks. The person, described in the police report as “obviously inebriated,” was taken into custody and held overnight.

Another call came in just before 4am from Hollerich, where an individual was causing a disturbance at a petrol station. Police determined that the person, who had also consumed too much alcohol, posed a risk to themselves and others and took them into custody.

In addition, police reported a series of burglaries and attempted break-ins, including thefts from several vehicles. Investigations have been launched into each incident.
