On Friday, Luxembourg police transferred two individuals to German law enforcement at the Wasserbilligerbrück border crossing.

The first suspect, a 32-year-old Moroccan national, faces extradition under an arrest warrant issued by the Mannheim public prosecutor’s office. They stand accused of social benefits fraud and will be held at Trier prison for five days pending further proceedings.

The second individual, a 51-year-old French national, was wanted by Frankfurt/Main prosecutors on fraud charges. Authorities allege they failed to deliver assets worth €200,000 in two separate cases. They have likewise been transferred to Trier prison.
