Luxembourg’s participation in the civilian European Union Mission in Armenia will contribute to building trust and stability in border regions between Armenia and Azerbaijan, thus ensuring security for residents in an area marked with serious conflict.

The police commissioner will also act as a “monitoring team leader”. The mission is set to run for around two years, involving some 100 staff.
