
Luxembourg won the award for its commitment to technological innovation for the benefit of its citizens.
40 indicators across 17 categories are taken into account to rank the 70 participating countries, including corporate tax status, broadband access, cyber security, and environmental quality.
It was also pointed out, among other things, that Luxembourg ranks 5th in Europe in terms of LGBTQI+ rights and that the country has the highest rate of residents who were not born on its territory.

The 20-hectare Las Vegas convention that attracted about 3,000 technology companies and about 100,000 visitors came to an end on Sunday.
The event is considered to have a great impact in the technology industry, which is why several Luxembourgish companies and institutions, including the Ministry of Digitalisation, the Government IT Centre (CTIE), and Luxinnovation, participated. The Chamber of Commerce co-organised the trip to Las Vegas.
