Jean-Paul Endré was best known as the co-founder and frontman of the cult band Djuju, formed in 1983. The band captivated audiences in Luxembourg with their unique blend of Latin, funk, salsa, and reggae rhythms, leaving a mark on the Luxembourgish music scene.
Endré, who also played guitar for the band, was a driving force behind their sound. Djuju released their last of nine albums a decade ago.
Beyond his musical contributions, Endré was also a writer. Under the pseudonym “Teacher,” he authored the children’s story “Edgar the Crow” 20 years ago, raising awareness about environmental protection.
