The assailant snatched a gold necklace from the victim’s neck and fled the scene. Shortly afterward, a police patrol apprehended the suspect on Rue de Strasbourg in the Gare neighbourhood.
During the arrest, police found the stolen necklace and a small quantity of hashish in the suspect’s possession. Both items were seized.
Following orders from the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was taken into custody and brought before an examining magistrate.
