The week after the holiday, just two Luxair flights were cancelled, or 0.28%.
Mobility of Mobility and Public Works François Bausch confirmed the above figures in response to a parliamentary question raised by the Christian Social People’s Party (CSV). The cancellations were said to be due to technical breakdowns, which had a knock-on effect on Luxair operations.
The issues were were further described as unusual and impossible to predict, but they caused a number of delays and cancellations despite the deployment of spare aircraft.
