Speaking at a briefing on Friday morning, Frieden addressed the housing crisis, as well as the linked issues in the construction and craft sectors. He called for more construction in the Grand Duchy in order to offer more properties and cause movement in the housing market.
In addition, the CSV candidate demanded simplified procedures and the scrapping of compensation measures. He also suggested structural measures within the fiscal system, to encourage people to apply for bank loans. As a result, he emphasised that urgent discussions were required between the State and the nation’s banking sector.
