An accident involving a lorry driver occurred at around 11am on Friday morning in the vicinity of the Wasserbillig service station.
Both lanes leading towards the capital were inaccessible due to the lorry blocking the roadway.
Authorities needed to redirect traffic through the service station to alleviate congestion.
Traffic has since been normalized.
