Finances are becoming an increasing source of distress for a substantial proportion of the population in Luxembourg.

That’s according to a report from Eurostat which established that the threat of poverty is even more pronounced for households with children.

Despite Luxembourg’s reputation for having a high standard of living and being a country of the rich, the elevated cost of living is becoming an increasingly prominent source of distress.

With the Eurostat snapshot showing nearly 20% of the population facing financial hardship, the scales are tipping towards financial precarity for more and more people living in the Grand Duchy.
