The police patrol had stopped at a red light on Boulevard Royal when a motorist cruised past them, driving through the red lights without braking. The officer followed the driver, who ignored a further four red traffic lights.
Finally, police caught up with the driver on Avenue de la Liberté and stopped him. There, they discovered he was quite inebriated and they withdrew his license.
