Police reportIllegal weapons apprehended; mugging in city centre

On Sunday morning, a police patrol noticed a man next to a car that was seemingly broken into. Upon further examination, the officers found a few notable things.

Other than various stolen items, the man had a baton, pepper-spray and a gun on him. He was arrested and will be seen by an investigating magistrate on Sunday.

Two further thefts reported

The Luxembourgish police also reported that a black BMW M3 with the Luxembourgish car plate number ‘DX6347' was stolen in Roser on Rue de Crauthem. So far, the car has not been recuperated.

In the city centre, on Rue des Capucins, a man was mugged by two young men. The assailants were roughly 20 years-old and grabbed the victim by his leg, taking his shoe before stealing his watch. Both perpetrators fled the scene thereafter.
