The Chamber of Commerce president Luc Frieden is also joining the delegation. On Monday, the delegation will meet with Morocco's prime minister as well as the Minister of Industry and Minister of the Economy.
The four-day visit will primarily consist of significant economic meetings in Casablanca, the country's economic capital. The delegation will participate in a forum hosted in Tuesday, which will tackle issues such as digitisation for firms and cybersecurity. The Chamber of Commerce is due to sign a memorandum of understanding with Morocco's digital development agency at the forum.
On Wednesday, the group will visit Tanger via TGV, as the city is the second-most important Moroccan city for the country's economy. Tanger Med, as the port is referred to, has connections going to 170 ports throughout the world. The visit will endeavour to find logistics cooperation solutions.
