The ring is engraved with the following caption: "Brigitte 9-12-195_". The last digit appears to be too smudged to make out.
If the ring happens to be yours, you can go collect it at the Kehlen recycling centre. Workers explained that such cases of missing items happen regularly, but usually the owner comes and collects the items relatively soon after they notice them missing.
One of the workers explained that because the owner had not yet returned, they had decided to contact the press and post a photograph of the ring on social media to try and reunite it with the owner.
