On Tuesday, the government announced that Minister of Labour and Sport Georges Engel tested positive for Covid-19.
The Minister discovered his infection following a positive rapid test result, which has since been confirmed by a PCR test.
According to the government, Engel shows “mild symptoms”. In accordance with the current health regulations, the Minister is in self-isolation at home and has switched to telework for the time being.
