
The commission, which includes representatives from the government, social partners, and service providers – known as the quadripartite committee – is responsible for the governance and management of Luxembourg’s health insurance.
Together, these groups will review the current status and future developments in the health insurance sector.
At last year’s meeting, officials reported a more positive outlook than initially expected, with a projected deficit of around 50 million euros for the current year.
Last year, health insurance revenue was recorded at 4.3 billion euros.
A press conference is scheduled this afternoon at the Op der Schmelz Centre in Dudelange, where officials will provide an updated report on the sector’s financial health.
