On Tuesday, a lorry crashed into the median barrier on the A6 after sustaining a flat tyre. The barrier was consequently damaged.
The Roads and Bridges Administration published a statement on Friday confirming the installation of a provisional barrier along the site of the accident. However, as the temporary barrier is less robust, a 90 km/h speed limit will be in place for a 500-metre section of the motorway until the barrier is permanently replaced.
The replacement barrier will be installed in several weeks once the parts have been delivered.
