In a fine example of cross-border cooperation between the Belgian and Luxembourg authorities, two alleged burglars were taken into custody on Saturday, hours after their alleged involvement in a burglary in Saint-Georges-sur-Meuse, Belgium, that morning.
The suspects are said to have targeted a bakery and a clothing shop, even opening fire in the process. They fled the scene of the crime and were intercepted by Luxembourg police on the A13 motorway several hours later.

The Belgian media reported that the perpetrators were of French origin. The suspects are said to have concealed their faces with hoods and drove a rental car.

Further details have not been released by the Grand Ducal police.
