
The announcement was made on Thursday afternoon. The border crossings in question are those in Tintesmillen, Untereiserbach, Gemünd and Rosport.
They are set to reopen from Monday 4 May at 5.30am. Police checks will be installed in the locations following a decision made by the German Ministry of the Interior.
According to German media, further border posts between France and Germany will reopen on 11 May for cross-border workers and those seeking to purchase groceries.
