A fire broke out at a residence on the Beim Haff road in Findel shortly after 2.30pm. Four people were injured as a result and received treatment at the scene from Luxembourg City and Sandweiler paramedics.
Fire fighters were also called out to the CR308A between Koetschette and Eschette where a fire had started in the undergrowth alongside the road. The incident required intervention from a number of fire brigades, including services from Colmar-Berg, Grousbous, Préizerdaul, Rambrouch, Redange, Grevels and Grosbous.
In Esch-sur-Alzette, a pedestrian was knocked down by a car on Avenue du Rock’n’Roll at 12.30pm. Sanem-Differdange and Esch emergency teams assisted the victim, who suffered injuries as a result of the collision.
Another person was injured in a crash on Route de Belvaux, Oberkorn, shortly before 4.00pm.
In Hagen, two cars collided on Rue de Steinfort at 4.20pm, leaving one person injured.
