Administrative courtFormer government employee wins court case

"The administrative court accepts the justification of the appeal. The work contract should not have been terminated prematurely."

"The government will also have to cover the charges," was the final say in the administrative court case between a government employee and the Ministry of the Civil Service.

The man had taken a job with the Ministry of the Environment in April 2018, but was shown the door only a few months later.

In July, the employee received a letter from the minister of the civil service that terminated his occupation on the base that the man had not respected his schedule and already accumulated thirty-three missed hours. Moreover, he had been twenty minutes late to a meeting about said problem. Both parties then agreed that the lost time needed to be made up for, but the employee's work ethic remained unchanged.

The contract was then to be terminated. The man was given eight days to respond to the accusation. At the end of the month, he was told that his services were no longer needed and that the work contract would be suspended. The man went to court the following month.

The respective judge found no justifiable reason for terminating the contract, and then would be able to make up for them until September. Moreover, the employee in question had never worked less than six hours a day.
