The cancellations are due to the temporary suspension of Adria Airways flight operations taking place this week after it was announced that the Slovenian airline was struggling to find investors.

Luxair is looking for solutions in order to get flights up and running as soon as possible. Passengers requiring travel should check luxair.lu or phone customer services for more information.

Luxair has worked with the Slovenian airline since early 2018, specially leasing an aircraft with larger capacity for the Saarbrücken-Berlin flights. Adria are said to be speaking to investors, but all flight operations have been put on hold until their situation has more clarity.

In August, this particular route caused concerns as it had not reached the necessary number of passengers. When Luxair took the route over from Air Berlin, their goal was to transport 100,000 passengers per year. In 2018, this figure was just 80,000.
