Motorway TunnelsFirst maintenance and cleaning campaign of 2023 to start on Monday
The Bridges and Roads Authority has announced that the first motorway tunnel maintenance and cleaning campaign for the year 2023 will begin next week, on Monday, 13 March.
Workers from the Bridges and Roads Authority will maintain safety equipment, examine the proper functioning and interaction of various equipment, and clean tunnel walls as part of the campaign.
To minimise the impact on traffic and to allow for coordination with other work sites, tunnel maintenance and cleaning will be done primarily at night.
The maintenance period runs from mid-March to mid-June.
The planned dates for the various tunnels can also be consulted on the CITA website.
