Fire brigades from Luxembourg City and Hesperange were called into action at 6.30pm on Saturday evening to respond to a fire in an underground car park in Cessange. According to the emergency service report, the fire did not cause any injuries.
Thus far, no details around the origin of the fire have emerged, but the flames were brought under control fairly quickly by firefighters at the scene.
A collision between two cars took place in Bofferdange two hours later and left one person injured. Emergency services from Mamer and Lorentzweiler were deployed to the scene to provide assistance.
