In Rumelange a car collided with a tree on Rue de la Bruyère just before 6pm, injuring two people. The Dudelange and Esch emergency services attended the incident.
Another person was hurt in a fire on Rue du Fossé in Esch-sur-Alzette at 7.40pm, after rubbish caught fire.
The Esch fire service were called out again at 9.40pm to deal with a fire at a cement factory on Rue Romain Fandel, and then once more at 4am on Saturday morning after an electrical fire occurred on Rue Marie-Muller Tesch. No injuries were reported in these incidents.
In Diekirch, a fire was reported at a residence on Rue du Palais at 8pm, involving kitchen equipment. Later on, a pile of wood caught fire on Avenue de la Liberté in Volmerange-les-Mines at around 11pm. Again, no injuries were reported.
