The police received several calls about one fight in the street and one in a bar in Clausen. According to officials, one man was beaten by several attackers, but he managed to escape the scene with the aid of a taxi driver. Due to a quick follow-up by the police, one of the presumed culprits was identified and detained shortly after. Apart from the personal attacks, a window from a nearby building was also destroyed in the process.
The police also reports of another incident in Weiswampach, where one person was attacked after trying to break up an already ongoing fight.
A further report noted that a drunken man committed material damage inside a refugee home in Sanem.
