Schroeder served as president of the alliance since its founding over 35 years ago, handing the role over to Marco Koeune earlier this year.As well as his work for the alliance, Schroeder was an active member in the Chamber of Agriculture, the National Health Fund (CNS), and the Superior Council of Nature.
The Alliance expressed its condolences to Schroeder’s wife and sons, and called the news “a great loss for our agriculture”.
