The long-time former president of the Farmers' Alliance, Camille Schroeder, has died at the age of 62.
The Luxembourg Farmers’ Alliance shared the tragic news in a press release on

Friday morning.

Schroeder served as president of the alliance since its founding over 35 years ago, handing the role over to Marco Koeune earlier this year.

As well as his work for the alliance, Schroeder was an active member in the Chamber of Agriculture, the National Health Fund (CNS), and the Superior Council of Nature.

The Alliance expressed its condolences to Schroeder’s wife and sons, and called the news “a great loss for our agriculture”.
