Camille Schroeder stood at the helm of the Farmers’ Alliance since its founding 35 years ago. He was also an active member in the Chamber of Agriculture, the National Health Fund (CNS), and the Superior Council of Nature.
The Farmer’s Alliance announced their change in leadership Monday night. Current vice president and Lac de la Haute-Sûre Mayor Marco Koeune will take over the role formerly held by Schroeder.
According to a statement from the Alliance, Koeune is expected to “carry on” in the spirit of his predecessor.
