A newspaper based in Esch/Alzette writes of unacceptable circumstances. Residents of flats in Cité Albert Schweitzer have repeatedly been left with no heating on weekends a total of 30 times in the past four months.
Despite complaints on the residents' side, the commune of Esch has failed to intervene and attempt to solve the problem.
The issue likely stems from the district heating network connected to the CHEM hospital in Esch, which usually works ..except on weekends.
When approached by Tageblatt, alderman Martin Kox promised to look into the issue, claiming he had been unaware of its extent.
