
The law, which will put a Grand-Ducal regulation into practice, will give the government legal certainty for all decisions taken in the context of the fight against the coronavirus. The text contains just two articles.
As the legislative procedure has been adapted to the urgency of the situation, the Chamber will organise an exceptional meeting on Saturday at 2pm. A plenary session of the Council of State will be held on Friday to give an opinion on the bill. The House Institutions Committee will also meet on Friday afternoon, where a rapporteur will be appointed.
The law will particularly be aimed at the limitation of travel and movement, as well as the reduction of economic activity. Building sites will have to be completely closed from 5pm on Friday.

As a little reminder of the sanctions for people who are outside without valid reason, they risk a fine of 145 euros. For businesses that do not comply with the compulsory closure, a fine of 4,000 euros will be applied.
MPs will also vote on five other bills, some of which concern the financial centre, but also the new special housing fund which will benefit from a legal basis.
A Council of Ministers is also scheduled for Friday.
