
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps report on Wednesday morning was a busy one.
The report detailed a staggering six collisions between two vehicles each time. Motorists were involved in collisions in Frisange, Walferdange, between Moutfort and Medingen, in Howald, Kirchberg, and between Hesperange and Howald.
In each collision, one person came away with injuries. All collisions occurred between just before 5 pm and 8.30 pm.
A pedestrian was also hit by a car on Rue du Fort Neiperg in Luxembourg City at 8.15 pm, sustaining injuries in the incident. A motorist also crashed into the wall of a bridge on Rue du Chemin de Fer in Petange at 20.30 pm and was injured in the process.
Just after 9 pm, a workshop caught fire on Rue du Sanatorium in Vianden. Firefighters from Vianden, Tandel, Diekirch, and Ettelbruck were at the scene alongside two ambulances. There were no injuries.
At 3 am on Wednesday morning, a car was ablaze in Wormeldange. Firefighters extinguished the fire, which only caused material damage.
