The man had previously been issued a restraining order bythe Public Prosecutor’s Office for domestic violence, but returned to his former home in Esch on Thursday evening.
Heavily intoxicated, he made death threats against his wife near the house.
The police quickly arrived at the scene and were able to intercept the individual, who was immediately taken to the police station. He was arrested by order of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and presented to the investigating judge on Friday morning.
