
On Wednesday, customs officers notified the police of a suspicious vehicle on Rue du Moulin, Rollingen. Following a search with a sniffer dog, police located small quantities of marijuana and ecstasy pills, as well as a taser in the vehicle. The driver was fined as a result.
Elsewhere, a number of break-ins took place across the country. In Limpertsberg, a burglar smashed a window in order to gain access to a residence on Rue Nicolas Steffen-Pierret and searched several rooms within the property.
Another individual broke into a house on Rue des Roses, Heisdorf, using a cellar window to gain access. A number of valuable items, including jewellery, were stolen during the incident.
Overnight, two perpetrators broke into a shopping centre on Rue Alphonse Weicker in the capital. Police officers arrived on the scene to find one individual standing guard at the doors while the other carried out the burglary. Both were taken into custody.
