On Monday, police took into custody a man who was caught selling cocaine and marijuana to a consumer.

Officers confiscated two cocaine pellets, two pouches of marijuana, cash and two mobile phones.

The public prosecutor's office ordered the individual's arrest. He is to be brought before a judge in due course. His buyer was also cautioned and the drugs he had purchased were seized by police.

FURTHER POLICE UPDATES

On Monday morning, police reported six delivery vehicles had been broken into in Esch-sur-Alzette on Rue de Belval. The perpetrators broke open windows primarily to steal airbags. Forensics attended the scene as an investigation into the thefts was opened.

Another delivery vehicle was targeted in Schifflange on Rue Denise Netgen. Tools were stolen from the van, according to police.

Finally, during a police check conducted on Route de Thionville in the capital on Monday night, officers came across an individual who should have been in prison. This person was duly returned to custody.
