When police arrived on the scene, they found the driver of the crashed car still asleep in her vehicle. She had crashed into a parked car.
Officers carried out a breathalyser test, which yielded positive results. The woman was cautioned and had her licence confiscated.
Police also came across an inebriated motorist in Dudelange on Rue du Commerce, shortly after 1am on Tuesday morning. Officers stopped the car, confiscated the man's licence and issued a caution.
