Shortly after 7am on Friday, a serious traffic accident occurred on the CR118 between Angelsberg and Larochette, when a car overturned and landed on a ditch.
The CGDIS initially reported one injured person. By noon, however, the police confirmed that the emergency services declared the death of the 47-year-old driver at the scene.
The prosecutor was informed about the fatal accident and has tasked the forensic and investigative services with further investigations.
The road was completely closed to traffic until shortly before 11.30am.
In addition to the emergency services from Larochette and Fischbach, a SAMU emergency doctor was also called to the scene.
